Love the staff here! I have visited for several haircuts and a beard trim. They have never failed to get the pesky hairs on my ears and my bushy eyebrows. Excellent service! Just know that it's walk in and first come first served.
We came in from out of town for my son's baseball tournament and he needed a trim. In addition to the cut, his teammates were all getting their uniform numbers shaved into their hair. I called numerous places that were unwilling to do that. Palmetto gave it a shot and not only did they do a great job with the number, but they also gave him one of the best cuts he has ever had. Great friendly atmosphere, good conversation and a barbershop dog all made this place an A in my book. I wish I could take them back to Texas with me! Also note, this place is walk-in only and cash only. They do have an on-site ATM though so not a big deal.
I’ve been going to Palmetto Barbershop for years, and Baili is the best! Super chill vibe, always a great cut, and she’s just awesome all around. You’re in good hands here — can’t recommend it enough!
Best barbers in Charleston! I wish I found them sooner. I would be comfortable with anyone here for a cut but try to stick with the same person each time. Shout out to Ms. Terry and Bailey!!
Pamela cut my husbands hair and it looks great! She was nice to talk to, gave us some great recommendations for some places around Charleston to eat. Overall she was very confident in what she does and the results exceeded what we were looking for. 10/10 recommend this barbershop. He decided to try a vacation haircut and were not disappointed
Did not get the name of the barber who cut my hair, however, you walk right to her when entering. I received one of the best haircuts ever. My father was a barber, taught me to be picky. He would been very happy with what I got. Will definitely be back!!!
Hands down the best barber in the city. Prices are unmatched; 25 for a men’s cut, 20 for students and military. The owner, Terry, is so hospitable and their stylist, Bailey, is the best! 10/10 recommend for gents living in the Charleston area.
Terry was very friendly and did a terrific job. No wait first thing in the morning on the way into work which was nice.
